Showcase Chicago Realty — Universal Media Usage Policy
This Media Usage Policy explains how Showcase Chicago Realty (“the Company,” “we,” or “our”) may capture, use, store, publish, or distribute photos, videos, audio, or property-related content (“Media”) in connection with our real estate operations, marketing initiatives, educational materials, brand communication, and business activities.
This policy applies to all Media captured by the Company, its agents, contractors, employees, or representatives, whether collected during real estate services, company events, client interactions, or any other business-related setting.

1. Definitions
- “Media” refers to any photographs, videos, audio recordings, digital images, virtual tours, drone footage, screen captures, or similar visual or audio content.
- “Property Media” refers to Media depicting real property, including interior, exterior, neighborhood, or architectural imagery.
- “Personal Media” refers to Media depicting clients, guests, agents, or any identifiable individual.
- “Platforms” refers to all digital, print, or broadcast channels used by the Company, including (but not limited to) social media accounts, websites, newsletters, advertisements, listing services, podcasts, training materials, public relations outlets, and educational content.
- “Consent” refers to permission granted verbally, in writing, via email, through an electronic form, or through any documented method approved by the Company.
2. Collection of Media
The Company may capture Media in the course of providing real estate services or brand-related activities. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Real estate showings, walkthroughs, inspections, closings, and client interactions
- Property photography and videography for marketing or documentation
- Company events, educational sessions, or marketing productions
- Behind-the-scenes content that supports brand development
Media collection is subject to the level of consent provided by individuals or property owners, as applicable.
3. Use of Media
With appropriate consent, the Company may use Media for purposes including:
- Marketing, branding, and promotional content
- Social media posts and digital communications
- Listing media, brochures, and advertising
- Website publications and portfolio materials
- Training, onboarding, and educational materials
- Podcasts, videos, interviews, or storytelling content
- Internal business operations and development
Unless otherwise restricted, Media may be used across any Company Platform and may be edited, reformatted, or repurposed. The Company does not sell Media to third parties.
4. Forms of Consent
The Company accepts and recognizes consent provided through:
- Completed electronic forms (including the Media Consent Form)
- Written consent via email or text message
- Signed physical documents
- Verbal consent followed by written confirmation
- Any documented or verifiable communication method
Consent may include authorization to:
- Capture Media
- Use Media publicly
- Share Media privately
- Restrict or limit specific uses
If an individual communicates no consent, the Company will refrain from capturing or using Media featuring that person.
5. Revocation or Modification of Consent
You may update or revoke consent at any time by contacting:

Upon revocation, we will cease future use immediately. Previously published Media may not always be removable due to platform limitations, but reasonable efforts will be made where appropriate.
6. Ownership and Rights
- All Media captured by the Company or its representatives is the property of Showcase Chicago Realty.
- Individuals appearing in Media do not receive compensation unless arranged in writing.
- The Company retains the right to use Media in accordance with granted consent.
7. Reporting Concerns or Unauthorized Use
If you believe Media featuring you, your likeness, your property, or your business has been posted without your consent, please contact us at Admin@showcase-chicago.com. We will review and address the matter promptly.
